…and they are organic!

From the shop profile for WhataDogBakeryDesign.etsy.com:

“What a Dog believes fine dining is for the dogs. We are committed to using high quality, 100% natural and organic, human grade ingredients in all of our treats. We use local ingredients whenever possible in order to lessen our impact on the earth. All treats are artisan and made to order. What a Dog came about when Lauren’s, our resident taste tester, professional pastry chef mom got tired of baking for her fellow humans. Now she’s baking for the dogs.”

Every dog needs a good treat!

I may never meet Atlas, as we live on opposite ends of a country, and neither one of us can fly. But I long to help… Atlas is a dog suffering from a very serious disease, transmissible venereal tumor (TVT).  Her people parents are finding it difficult to pay for the weekly chemotherapy treatments.  And while I’m not sure how many treatments are needed, $250.00/treatment adds up fast.

Before Atlas was rescued and cared for by her current parents, Atlas was most likely over bred!  Which is awful… just awful.

For the time I’d like to focus on Atlas and what we can do to support her.  Her rescue parents are selling buttons on etsy.com to help raise money for Atlas’ treatments.
