I need a space – my own sacred space.  It doesn’t have to be an entire room, but just a little get-away.  I read an article in the NY Times about these two women who live together, but apart, but together – they basically share a huge apartment, each with their own space.  I want something-something else.  I want to be fully in the family space – not my own, but I do want a little get-away space.

I know I miss my crate, but with the siezure I had, I completely destroyed that crate, and besides I was really outgrowing it.

What I need is to somehow get my brothers toddler bed – it’s the same size as the living room ottoman, yet that ottoman is not always mine.  So a toddler bed with the safety sides removed would be perfect.  And I don’t need anything materialistic, but here are a few things that would be comforting…  a thick blanket to lay on, a chew toy nearby, and that is it…  oh, maybe one of Dad’s old t-shirts too.

Ommm… ommmm… ommmm…

Once the Spring is here, my sacred space will be outdoors, surrounded by bamboo and large bowls of overflowing fresh crystal clear water….

mmmm… mmmm… mmmmm…
